Described as an open-air museum, the Maltese Islands are positively mythic, with their Megaliths, Calypso’s Cave and Medieval dungeons. The countryside is dotted with medieval towers, wayside chapels and the oldest known human structures in the world, and its Baroque capital is entirely inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Maltese archipelago lies at the heart of the Mediterranean, and consists of three main islands: Malta, Gozo and Comino, Malta being the largest and the cultural, commercial and administrative centre. Gozo is the second largest island and is more rural, characterised by fishing, tourism, crafts and agriculture. Comino, the smallest of the trio, has one hotel and is largely uninhabited.

Surrounded by the sea, you are even spoilt for choice as to how you to get from point to point – so its not just about air conditioned coaches or vintage cars, but a Turkish Gullet or a speedboat could also get you to your next destination!
The islands also offer a large selection of leading chain and independent hotels. Larger groups can be accommodated in over 2000 hotel rooms within walking distance, and our state of the art conference centres cater for up to 5000 delegates.
